Cafe Meria text message notifications

Cafe Meria offers a free, optional text-message program so we can let you know when the order you placed is ready for pickup. It is a transactional, order-related program — we only text you about an order you placed. We never send marketing or promotional texts, and consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
How you opt in
You opt in by giving us your mobile number at the moment you place an order at cafemeria.com. On the checkout screen there is an optional Phone field. It is blank by default — nothing is pre-filled or pre-checked. If you type your mobile number, the consent disclosure below is shown directly beneath the field before you place the order, and entering a number and placing the order is what opts you in.
Providing a number is never required to place an order — it is only so we can text you when your order is ready. (When the same notification becomes available at our in-store self-order kiosk at 101 Mason St, Charlevoix, MI, it works the same way: an optional, blank-by-default number field with the same disclosure shown before you confirm.)
